I think its a parking lot :)g)

Crown King run is okay but not something Id do again with that group. Its going to be hot, count on at least 3 breakdowns and an 8hour+ day

The last time I ran that with the VJC, the 9am group I was with caught and actually was able to pass the 6am group. Parking lot is an understatement. I do like the BW to CK, but NEVER with the VJC.

I'd say if you live in AZ you should do it at least once. W/o too much traffic it makes a good family day trip and camping in the trees is a must for me. I couldn't do it with more than 6 vehicles though.
It's also fun in the snow :)

Last year was fun but also sucked... was very hot, and between Alan, Chris & I it was a LONG day, then that washboard road on the way out ugh :(( but what got me the most was a bad gasket that allowed exhaust fumes & heat from the cat into the XJ floor board was 142F when I got home 8|

But I think a 2day 1 night would be cool and or a day trip with a little snow up towards the top would be neat

me and 2 other buddies are planning on doing it in a few wks. i did it once with the vjc a few yrs ago and never again. it took us 8 hr to go the 31 or so miles to ck. right now its not bad for temps as i was just up in the mtns by there last wk looking at an alternate route to ck. very promising too. it was around 85 at the hottest part of the day and was breezy the whole time.

I would like to run the trail someday, at least once. Haven't done much wheeling on that side of town. Not looking to do a 8 hr. run with 50 other vehicles though, that's for sure. Thanks for the info.

Anyone running anything else? Me and family wanted to go hit TM, run some trails like LT, Pred, and play around on Raw Deal. Nothing to hard my kids and wife will be with me.
