Manmping 2009

Put me on that list. It nearly killed me, Bob. Honestly, if I had know the hike down and hike back up, I would have bailed. I'm glad I didn't, but it was brutal for me. Everyone else seemed to do fine, but I'm just not in good shape at all...

SEE! Standing on a ROCK to be as tall as everyone else WAS a good idea. }:)

Wow possibly the best manmping trip yet...

location was at least equal to Fossil Springs (nestled in the woods, in beautiful canyon, camping next to running water with cliff jumps and now a rope swing) :cool)

the seclusion was great (we had the entire canyon to ourselves with the exception of an occasional ring-tailed cat) 8|

weather was perfect. warm enough to get in the water during the day and cool enough to be in a sleeping bag at night and the first manmping trip with no rain. sleeping under the stars with no tarp or tent to block the views is the best

the attendence was the best yet with four veterans and three newbies:rockon:

the only negatives were when Mike phuxtended (technical medical term kind of like a sprain only more manly) his ankle and the lack of Bob Geoff and Chris :'(

Needless to say I had a great time. I already can't wait to get out of the city again. It was fun to have some new faces. Props to Caleb for joining us blind. It was good to meet you. Hope to see you on some future outings

I'm not near the photog the others are but here are a few of my pics

You want me to do what?

Bump for a dang good time.

Six months almost erases the pain of the hike out.

Great shots too, by the way. Go back and really look at them.

Well done, crew. Well done.
