new tires

well i am am going to start hunting for new shoes for the jeep. i am leaning to 33's but i am also considering going to 35's. my worry is that my current set up would not handle 35's without regearing. i am stock in that area right now. i have info in my profile on my jeep set up. i think the safer way to go right now is 33's but i would like opinions. i am going to shop around and see what deals i can get for 33's and 35's. i want to see who really wants my business and where i can get the best deal at.

Whatever you get just be mindful that you do have that little tiny d35 under there.

Also you aren't going to find a huge discrepancy in tire pricing. There isn't much of a profit margin when it comes to tire sales. Also the best "Deal" might not always be the "Cheaper" one as so many web wheelers think.

Yeah I wouldnt move to 35s until you get a new axle and regear. I really think you will be too slow on the road and you will put a ton of stress on the axle.

You can run a ton of trails on on 33's and have a great time. Save up the cash and a year or 2 from now pick up a dana 44, regear and then throw 35s on it

And honestly since you are relatively new to offroading I really think its a good idea to get seat time and learn how to pick lines, how your rig handles and build up some great driving skills before you start running the 4.0+ trails that 35's will require.

i agree totally i am looking at buying bfg's all terrian to's 33's. tirerack.com has them for 149 and they look to be the best for me right now with dd and trails.in a few years i will have a second something to drive and then i can turn my jeep onto a trail monster.

Not a bad tire for mostly road driving. Assuming your rig is going to be 90 road 10 trail for the time being you won't go wrong with those until you start doing more trail time and see that they are not fun off road.
