how did you decide
#1
How did you decide on your current job? Was it the first thing available? Did you have to work towards it? Are you doing what you want to do? What do you wish was different?

Decide. That's funny.

Someone made me quit my previous antisocial job and I didn't work for 7mo.
I sold some of OffroadAZ's Jeep parts on ebay (he still doesn't even know they're gone) and the shipping store asked if I wanted a job selling their ebay stuff. I said, "I dunno, I'll see." Started for next to nothing and free lunches b/c I was bored.
They found out I haz talent so I asked for a raise everytime something was added to my plate, or everytime the owner was admitted to the psych ward, or everytime someone got fired.

I don't really know anyone yet who are doing what they want to do.

HELLO...
I am, I spent almost 20gs on school. I had three options at school, mechanic, diesel tech, or auto body? I hated getting greasy so diesel and mech were out. My dream was to build sick cars and make them look better than they ran, so here I am in autobody. Its along the same lines as building cars. I really have never hated waking up and going to work. I do have good and bad days, but the pay check make it up in ten fold especially in the winter time when the snow birds are here. :P:P

I really enjoy what I do. In fact, if it wasn't for stupid people my job would be cake. But then again I work at night in a hospital on Progressive Cardiac Care Unit where I have access to all kinds of sleeping meds to make my night quiet.

I walked into the USAF recuiters office and signed up. I had no idea what I was getting into, I picked a job out of huge book. I picked F16 Crew Chief and have loved it for the last 8 years. I am now F16 Quality Assurance inspector and hope I get to stay in this job for a little longer then I will move on to something better I hope. before all of this I was saleing shoes a Big 5 in Oregon, this is much better job.
