Holy cow I thought the jeep was going to tip over on the guy who fell out. I guess he fell out, or did he jump out? Sheesh!

Also there was an incident last week regarding two spectator deaths involving a dangerous recovery.

Two persons died due to an accident that occurred during a 4 X 4 motor vehicle race at Owitiyawatta in Kochchikade at around 1.45 pm yesterday, Police Spokesman SP Ajith Rohana told the Daily News. He said a 20 year old youth died on the spot due to head injuries while another died in hospital. According to the organizers of the event, some of the spectators, including the victims failed to pay heed to the warnings about possible accidents.

There was nothing placed on the tow line to help stop it and the spectators are extremely close.

OUCH! That's horrible. Crap. Shoot. Make it go away...

Had to watch like 3 times before I realized what was happening... made me cringe

And the moral of the story boys and girls, is no matter how tempting it may be, do not reach out and touch the trees, rocks, etc. as you pass. :rolleyes:
