Pyeatt Draw+ with the NMVJC 6-19-09
#1
I rode up with Bob and Randy today and came back tonight. They will be there through Saturday eve along with the Yellowsub and will more than likely find some more trails to run.
I only hoped out a few times for pics this go around. There were plenty of other cameras out there too.

9+ vehicles up there now and the weather was beautiful.
Here's some pics to tide you over until they return with more.

Bob's pulling a Lance in this shot

I found another cool lizard :)

good stuff Michael....... did they make the fall? That green Jeep looks dangerously close to breaking an axle? 8|

Tell me it ain't so bob. Did I see a cable on the front for the fall?

Bob must like the drive to Pyeatte, cause he'll be making it for the third time (tonight) ;) Randy busted an axle so Bob's towing the black one home first and then back to get the red one. What a great friend (& brother for that matter)!

They both tied the winch off just in case.
Yeah the green Jeep fixed his line before making that undercut. He was rocking 60's though.

Safety first :cool)
He used less tight line than the green Jeep did fo sho.
But a 2nd locker pump wouldn't hurt.

I'm going to bed, but yea I busted up my Jeep good and the Fat tow shit a brick on our second trip home.
Besides the carnage we had a great time, thanks again Bob.

Just got home... The jeep did great! The truck took a dump about 15 miles from Fountain Hills. The rear end is toast. I called a friend and he came out and got the jeep and trailer then ran me back out to get the truck... the truck is now missing part of the front bumper and running board and has a big ass dent and scratch in the side from my trailer.... It sucks.

The wheeling was great and being out with friends was a blast. 4 trips to Payson is a little much.

Nope... When I was pulling the truck on the trailer the driver side tire climed the rail and pushed the pas side rear into the side of the trailer. Before I could do anything the damage was done.

Man Bob sorry to hear about your truck, glad at least the jeep came out unscathed. Thanks for all you did to make this trip happen. I had a great time, the NM peeps where fun to wheel with. We'll have to go up again sometime to further explore upper pyeatt and maybe check out lower skull....don't worry won't make you make that drive again anytime too soon :)=)
