Gas Pipe Line night run
#1
Meet up with the 4X4HAM group & we did the gas pipe line run, little windy out but over great weather!
14 Jeeps total and only 3 Cherokees
only got a few pic's and I almost had another "Butcher Jones" moment...

I decided I could go up the last steep hill in 2wd...

WRONG!!! 8|
motor bogged out at the top and once again I find my self going backwards at a high rate of speed down the hill :eyeroll:
I did wise up and let off the brake to allow the front tires to turn so I could gain some sort of control, we did make it to the botton (quickly I might add)
and got the XJ restarted and this time used 4L and go up no problem

Cool, man! It's great to see the XJ running again. You and I need to run soon.

Love the half doors. Who's the guy in the back passenger seat?

X2 on the half doors! First time I've ever seen them. How did you cut them like that? Do the windows still work?

Haha, I managed to make it into 4 of the 7 photos you posted.

Half the door is gone. Who needs windows! haha.

Cup holders! You should be able to mount some radio or GPS equipment there too!

Looks like a nice night of fun. Sorry I didn't let you guys know I wasn't going to make it. I never found a thread where I could post saying I wouldn't be there.

Great pictures though!
