Ladies and gentlemen this is our final opportunity. This is a now or never, we need letters. Write to all your friends in all off road clubs, don't let them do form letters, help them write their own, but get it done. Of all the trails in Arizona this seems to have the most history and love from off road users, if we are not willing to fight for this one what trail are we willing to stand up and save? Please help this be the start of a new era, one where OHV is willing to stand up side by side and work to maintain keeping our trails open.

The time to stand is now.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had 139 register at the meeting in April, each person should have gotten at least 2-5 others from their clubs and those they wheel with to write in letters, we should have hundreds. This is what we mean when we say we need everyone to take the time.

I know some can't make the meetings, that is ok, but please participate by writing a letter, or even as Sandee said a one liner, maybe 2 liner and for those this area means so much to write a letter. Meetings take hours, this takes minutes.

We each find ways to participate, but this is the one action we ALL have to do. Go to meetings, go to clean ups, volunteer time for projects, getting the word out, but even doing those parts we have to write our letters, get those comments in. Please, it's 4th down, 1 yard to go, lets not punt, lets go for it!!!

Pathetic. I sent in an email. I should have mailed a letter.

My response wasn't very long. It takes 5 minutes.

My letter was longer than this, but here's an example of something to send.
Hi, my name is ____. I'm a member of the 4x4 community and use the Florence Junction trails regularily. I do not support any trail closures as are proposed. Please give the 4x4 groups an opportunity to adopt the trails for cleanup and improvements.

Hello,

I’m writing in regards to Martinez Canyon.

Just wanted to express my interest in the area. I’ve enjoyed many trips out to the area, Jeeping and hiking the loop.

We’ve explored the old mine ruins, the cabins, and camped for starry secluded nights under the trees.

Please allow this area, with protective measures if necessary, to remain open. East of the canyon is already a preserved area for hiking only. I’d hate for this side to be closed completely, hiding its beauty forever.

Thank You.
Michael

Yup, lets make sure that we all of those letters in folks. If you have a spouse with an email account have them send one in from that also. We really need to have some volume to get our point across on this one. You can garauntee that the opposition will be sending in hundreds of comments.

I can always set up custom accounts under the higherground4x4 domain if people just want to do a 1 time email from there

If you do send emails from multiple accounts make sure you change them up a little. Want to make sure we are sending unique comments to the BLM.
