Ah. I thought it was something else.
I'm part Choctaw.
My great-great-grandmother escaped the Trail of Tears
Anybody else got a little Indian inside them in?

Not trying to be funny, but I'm part Cherokee.
My great grandmother on my Dad's side. My grandfather was so dark skinned, that my mom's dad thought he was black. :cool) Made for interesting family relationships back in the south, back in the day.

I was told that my Grandma on my dads side had her Indian number from the tribe. Not sure what tribe... Could have been the wanabee tribe.

I'm both Cherokee and Choctaw. Just like the song says. My mom has started a geneology of the family. The indian heritage makes sense as she has traced the white part back to the original boats.
