Answer the poll and provide feedback please.

I was going to vote yes, but then saw you had an option with bacon in it. The work I've seen from you looks awesome. I wish you the best if you do open your own shop.

I have a shop... but wish you the best of luck.

I voted for pizza only because that'd be pretty far for us to drive for repairs or fab work. We live on the other end of the planet.

If you focus on fab work I think you can do okay

Maybe offer powder coating too

But for gears, lockers and lifts I already have a shop I use

If youre looking to sell parts online, you really need to focus on customer service. I really like using 4x4rockshop because Mike always gets back to me right away, they answer the phone and they even have a live chat if you have a question

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the great responses..... It will be a small fab shop mainly, but if other bolt on items are requested too that can be done as well.

I plan to start small and take the "see how it goes and pay the bills" approach. I haven't outgrown my garage but the local officials don't like me workin on other peoples stuff in my garage. Already been fined. :(

I am currently looking into all the T's to cross and I's to dot and should have a place for you to "check out" by Mid-May. :fingers-crossed:

X2. For me, Signal Butte and University is kinda of a long way from 91st ave and Cactus, but I don't see a problem with you opening a shop up. There are plenty of wheelers who live out that way, most of whom would probably like to see a fab shop near them.

I say go for it.
