Sy, can you PM me a price for the setup like in your first post? No steering assist. I mainly need a beefier tie rod after bending the stock one. It's for an XJ D30 with 3.5" lift.

Love it.

Sy,
I'm curious about the steering stabilizer shock. Is it not needed with the beefier setup? Is there just not room for the mount? Also, are the sway bar connections being removed?

SS is still necessary with the system unless you gowith the hydro-assist.

On this particular set up there was no swaybar mounts or steering stabilizer. That will be addressed on teh next Jeep I am doin right when my shop opens in mis May. I have a Ruby comin in for the steering with swaybar and steering stabilizer attatched.

I had a chance to see this setup in person last weekend on Twisted's rig. It really is beefy. Looks a lot better then the currie setup

nice work Sy :)g)

It only took me 3 months to make it over there with the XJ, but I got new steering today. Awesome setup Sy! He said it's the 9th install, but 1st on an XJ.

the double sheer pitman arm is gusseted on both sides...... paint is optional. Virgil said he was gonna scratch the crap out of it and I didn't want my pretty paint to get scratched...... :eyeroll:

Hey guys, take it easy on Sy. He delivered an excellent product with fast and friendly service. I dropped it off mid day and demanded it done by 4pm and that's what he did. I didn't give him time to paint which is something I can do easily myself. Geoff, I was hoping to get that pink paint code you used on yours. In fact, I didn't even give Sy time to do the alignment. You think it's towed out too much? See picture below.

All joking aside, this steering is something everyone should have. It feels so much better than the stock stuff, it's not even worth comparing. I'll give it a better review once I've had a chance to wheel it a little.

Those nice new KM2's wont last long toe'd out like that V?

Might have a fuel economy issue as well?
#35
Took it all off yesterday and painted it up with some Rustoleum Black Gloss spray paint. Looks much better now.
#36
looks great!

Still works great after almost a year.
#39
That make a lot of difference? I"ve been thinking about that as my next mod (after tires)

Well, I don't wheel it to the extreme, but it hasn't folded like the factory stuff did. Works great for me.
