LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens may have graduated and moved on, but Disney's "High School Musical" franchise will continue with a fourth installment due out in 2010.

"The 'High School Musical' trilogy introduced a new generation to the celebrated genre of movie musicals. In crafting this next iteration, we've challenged the entire creative team to raise the bar again -- and create something truly worthy of this extraordinary global phenomenon," Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, Disney Channels Worldwide said in a statement released on Tuesday.

And they way "High School Musical 4" will expand the drama is with a rivalry. According to Disney, the next movie will feature a love triangle "set against the cross-town rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights," Disney said in a statement.

Peter Barsocchini, who wrote "HSM 1, 2 & 3," is back in as screenwriter, while Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush will once again executive produce.

YES!!!! I"m freakin' stoked, man!

But it won't be the same... it'll be like "star track babalon 5" of something.

Zack decided to go to UC Berkley and Vanessa has gone to Stanford.

Maybe they'll come back for homecoming!

I'm gonna go pray now.

Curios if you have to listen to that Jonas Brothers crap?

nope. Couldn't tell you one song.

I can tell you they appear to be pretty good role models (good family, Christian beliefs, walk the talk, etc...) and I hope they never fall.

Katelyn (my 8 year old) gets (as she puts it) "ooo la la" when she sees them, though. David Casidy, eat your heart out.
