Ok, I'm one of those people that normally struggle to draw a simple square or circle. I surprized myself today when I got an idea for a 4x4 Ham logo and was actually able to make something that looked decent.

Wanna do a logo design for the NAXJA AZ Rockfest 09? I bought the domain name for AZRockfest.com and am going to put up a site in the next week, once all details are finalized.

A "snazzy" logo goes a long way (Mr. "I designed BOTH versions of the AZVJC sticker and just look at all the spiffy designs here on HG4x4")

Michael, I'm interested. I want to make the wheels look better. They need to be more "offroad" looking. Also, do you think you could make the antenna look better? Let me know how much an order of 50 would cost. I can send the bmp file instead of jpg to you or should I just keep working on it myself?

Virgil I think it's cool that the Ham peeps are working on the logo together. Whatever you guys come up with I can cut. Let me know if you get an approximate size and I'll see what the cost would be.

4-5 inches square. I don't know much how vinyl cutting works. We don't want to go too small and lose detail, but I don't want it to be a hood sized logo either. I like it about the size it's displaying on the image above. Maybe a little bigger.

This is awesome. Brad fixed the antenna too.

It would look best and be more cost effective if you went with single color vinyl. Like most window graphics, the black would be cut as white and the window would act as your second color (reverse of what you have).
Your rock would look out of place. If done like the HigherGround fish (sans rock), it could be positioned climbing whatever contour you wanted.

Ok, the rock can go. That makes sense since it would be square on the bottom left and look out of place.

Would it be easy to offer in 2 colors? White sticker (opposite of my colors) and black sticker.

I think it's better. Sometime simpler is.
I think the tire tread need some work to ensure it doesn't get misinterpreted for a gear.
And maybe use a different font

Ok, how's this? Changed the font as it got numerous complaints for being too round. Also rounded the tire lugs off so they are not so square and gear looking. I'm open to suggestions to making it look more tire like.

Yeah, it'll take me awhile, but I'll cut them in half so there will be more and smaller ones.

Yeah, do it. I printed some off on paper and a 6" diameter seems to be about the right size. What do you need from me? I can email you the BMP file instead of the JPG. Can you make me 2 prototypes on white stickers? (Reverse colors of what I have above. The 4x4 HAM.com words will actually be cut out and vehicle color/tinted window will show through.)

Just the largest file size you have would probably work.
I've found 6" to look kinda big (see the azvjc one)
