I know its TMI... but I'm hard right now.

That is awesome.

if we KNOW Bob, can we get little ones (4 inch) ones for our jeep to support The Bob? You know, kind of like a cooler "we support out troops" sticker and only Bob can pass them out to his friends? An HG4X4 version of the Man Card?

Sorry. I got dreamy. That's killer guys.

Full hood sticker (i.e. smokey and the bandit), or middle of the hood (18 - 24" range)?

The eng brackets are in and are "beefy as all get out" per my friend that picked them up.

The plan for sat...
Nothing too big. Going to get all the stuff off the red rig and try and pull the eng.
I don't know that the eng is going to be out at the end of the day but thats my goal.

Spent the day in the shop. Joe was working on his Jeep so I was on my own for most of the day. Got the red jeep striped and ready to go. Mike came over after the TM run and helped me pull some wires and clean up. Thanks Mike!

What it looked like when I started working.

Pulled the grill and winch.

OK, I've waited 24 hours.

Pics or ban. }:)

It was cool showing Jen Bob's jeep... in multiple piles!

Jack seemed a bit tense (don't know if it's because I had the kiddos down there or because there were so many folks in the shop, or just because of Ryan's new heep... LOL), so out of respect to the shop and Jack, we bailed pretty quick. Sorry Bob. Sorry Jack. :eyeroll:

Wow what a weekend! I want to start with saying thanks to everyone that came out to help and to those that came over to say hi. There is no way I would been able to get as far as I did without you guys.
Special thanks to Jack (the forklift man) Ryan and Geoff (house welders) I owe you guys!
Sat we were able to get the body off the old frame and the eng out. With a little love the body and eng went on the new frame and its starting to look like a Jeep again.

Eng on the way out

Eng out

Going the new frame

Eng mounts getting welded in

Body ready to go on

Time to hook everything back up

Well then a double I'm sorry to Jack. I really didn't mean any disrespect to the shop or shop rules. Won't happen again.

On another note:

THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!!!!

No blood no foul. They would just hate for any little jeepers to get hurt. :)=)

Awesome Bob! I'm glad I could be there even if it was only for moral support.
What progress did you make on Sunday?
