New plan for the new Jeep
#1
As you all know I picked up a Jeep that has had extensive custome work done to it. Well I spent a little over 8 hours down at the shop with the jeep on the rack looking over the thing from one end to the other. I had my Joe from Absolute Offroad looking it over with me to come up with a plan.
This is what I found.
The Jeep was built to make 60’s, high steer, rear steer, and full hydro work and work well. The frame has been notched, cut, moved, and all sorts of other things.
The suspension is part custom built and part home built. There are parts that have had other part welded on to it and so on.
After a good hard look and talking about what would work and what we would need to do to make something work… I am going to be moving everything over to my old frame and put a new Rock Krawler stretch kit under it.
The first thing I am goingto be doing is getting the the old frame cleaned up and the brackets removed.
Not everything has been figured out yet but I have a good start to the plan and will be updating you all as things get done.

Wish me luck!
