Learned today that my father has a few 90% blockages and 1 100% blockage and requires bypass surgery, it was to bad for just using stints. His surgery is scheduled for next week, so it was not so bad that he was rushed into emergency room, but I don't want to take any chances, so any prayers that all will be well until the surgery and through it would be greatly appreciated.

My dad had his surgery yesterday, it ended up being a quadruple by-pass, 3 arteries were at 90% blocked and 1 was at 100%. The Dr. came out and told us it all went well yesterday, had to wait an hour until we could see him and would be sometime after 10pm last night until they tested him to see if they could take him off the machine that was breathing for him. He would also not be awake enought to really talk to anyone or even recognize anyone until sometime this morning.

This morning my mom said they had him off the breathing machine, they had him up twice walking and he is doing great. Talk about a wonderful feeling.

Thank you to all for your well wishes, thoughts and prayers, they really do work miracles.

My dad means alot to me, I can't think of a man I respect more and to see him in this condition has just killed me, I wanted so badly to take away his pain. To know he is now going to be ok is truly a blessing and a miracle, so again thanks for the prayers, they have truly done me a huge favor in keeping my dad with us.
