Just giving everyone a heads up. Tim Hueber and the Toyota group are sponsoring another 4 Peaks clean up this year.

Four Peaks Pickup is going to be on February 7th, 2009.Those not familiar with last years effort check out http://www.fourpeakspickup.blogspot.com.
Last year a Mr Hunter was kind enough to bring out the awesome Sheriff mobile to help keep things in order:



I hope we can get another nearly 300 volunteers out to clean up another 7 tons of trash!! Hopefully there won't be any burnt out FJ Cruisers this year that need to be drug out!

What I need to help out: Gloves, shovels, water, lunch, trash dumpsters, porta-jons, press and anything else you think may help! Just spreading the word on another forum you're on helps immensely!

Thanks for all of your help last year and we hope to see you again this year!!!

Wow what a day! Over 500 people and 3 dumpsters filled with 20 tons of trash, compared to last year's 300 people and 7 tons of garbage.

It was great meeting you out the Skatchkins. We definitely have to hit the trails some time!

Good deal, if you want to do a writeup on your event we'll post it to the AZOHVC website.

I had a good time. Saw very few Jeeps out there compared to the FJ's and Nissans. Not sayin, just sayin. I know the Table Mesa C/U's get got good by the Jeeps.
The group I was in did the W side of the hwy towards Sycamore.
Guess I won a hat, sticker, and magazine subscription. I tried to stay 'til the raffle but got peopled out just before so ditched. I had a Nissan guy hold my ticket.
