My Jeep is home
#1
Just got back home. I have an new Jeep in the driveway.

First things first Thank you to Mike for riding out to CA with me to get the Jeep and for asking me the hard questions when looking over the Jeep.

The day started early at about 5:30am and ended at 9:30pm. We made good time out CA. No real traffic to speak of. We found the house with ease and the Jeep in the driveway.

First thought… Wow its short…

Started looking it over and it needs a few more things than what I thought. The brakes are missing… as in it has none. Made loading it on the trailer fun… THe owner covered everything he could and tossed in some extra parts.

On the drive home we took a short cut that ended up putting us on the beach. It wasn’t a shortcut but it was nice to see the ocean. We also ran into some snow… and a cop.
Did you know that if you have a Jeep humping your truck you can only go 55mph… even if all the other cars are doing 75…
The cop was nice enough to only yell at me over the loud speaker.

It was a great trip and now I have something to spend a bunch of money on…

Had to something... Im sure no one wanted 12 months of Bob and black Jeep... :)=)

Time for 12 months of color.

Do you think red will clash with yellow on the trail?

Well if that's all the crayon box has to offer...

Its a 97 with a auto and a 4.0 stroked out to a 4.7 and a... say it with me Mike... Supercharger. Its been stretched to 104 with 3" of that being in the front. Has the 3.8 atlas and rubicon d44's. The grill was lowered 1" to help the view. Gives it a racer look.

The plan is still in the works... have a bunch of ideas but need to sit down with Joe and see what will work.

Hey Bob, nice jeep! I like the low center of gravity...looks like it will climb a mountain. So what's the first upgrade? Are you going to end up selling anything else off of the old jeep (seats, winch etc.)?

Oh by the way--the bumbers are awesome...thanks!
