stupid tech, shocks
#1
so I need to replace my rear passenger shock. The ones I have on there were about $200 each and I cant afford that right now

any issues with running a cheap replacement one until I can save the cash?

On the streets? Nope

Get a cheap rear set of ranchos. I smash them all the time so I never buy anything nice...

Chris, what in the hell shocks are you running? And I think first you need to figure out why it leaked before you just start replacing them.

I have the edelbrock xtreme travel reservoir ones. Theyve been on there since 02

I think Ill just stick a cheap one on there for now. Eventually I want to goto coil overs so it doesnt make sense to spend allot of money on shocks at this point

I was going to ask you how you liked those... they look good though. Are you thinking they are not worth the money? Or would you just go a cheaper route and replace if needed?

I liked them allot, definite improvement over the stock ones. The IAS valve seemed to work good and was able to soften or stiffen the ride depending on road conditions

If I had the cash Id replace it, but since I want to goto coilovers Im going to go the cheap route for now
