Sorry for the late notice, but if anyone can make it to either meeting would be great. Please wear your red shirts if you can make it.

Greetings!
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites you to tell us what types of recreation and road access are important to you in the Phoenix "Table Mesa Recreation" area. The map of the Table Mesa Recreation Plan is on the back of this letter. Take a look at the map. Are there roads you'd like to see closed or opened? Can you identify areas that are best for off road vehicles, horseback riding, or hiking? What about areas for safe target shooting? We feel that you have valuable insight and information that will help craft a thoughtful and workable Recreation Plan for the area. As you consider your needs and desires, we'd also appreciate your consideration to develop a plan for multiple uses:
• Safe, recreational shooting areas
• Access points for recreation areas
• Additional parking/trailhead needs
• Open/closing of routes and why
• Private property access issues
• Valid existing rights
There are two public meetings scheduled – November 18th or 20th – you need to attend only one.
You are on the mailing list because you or your organization had previously participated in the Resource Management Plan for the Hassayampa Field Office and Agua Fria National Monument, and we want to keep you informed.
Once we hear from you and get your ideas on road and recreation access, the BLM will finalize a Recreation Activity Plan/Travel Management Plan and Environmental Assessment. When completed, the BLM will seek funding for and implement the Table Mesa Recreation Plan and associated projects.
