Trailer went for a ride
#1
I came home from work to find my trailer in my yard. I was more than a little confused. When I went to work today it was infront of my house... Now its in my front yard and part way into the yard next to me.
At first I thought Hmmmmm who would do this? Jack? Ray? Kids from the school? Then I thought Its not an HOA thing and I don't think the city would do that...
Then I found the note...
Sorry I hit your trailer... here is all my info...

Ok so someone hit my trailer... and pushed it 10 or so feet up the curb and into my yard. They crushed the fender bent the rim and bent the frame...

Looks like the Ins. company is going to be paying me.:eyeroll:

I hope they didn't break all those new boards you put in Sunday.

How'd they manage that? Glad they left a note!

Funny thing is they did and somehow they warped 3 of the boards. It's weird.

I was over there tonight and saw it. That thing is hammered. They had to have hit it pretty hard to bend it the way they did. I know it was an accident and I would've rather hit the trailer as opposed to another car also, but DAMN. 8|

I doubt it. There were some new wires hanging down from the ride it took thru the yard. We finally started feeling sorry for the poor little trailer and stopped looking for new things after we noticed how bent it actually was.

Called the ins company. They said they would take care of it. They want me to take it to whatever body shop I want... I asked the lady if there is one that fixed trailers in Phx... She didn't know but would have a claim adjustor call me.

I would but he is too far away for me to pull the trailer with the axle bent like that

since its relatively inexpensive, I wonder if they will just total it?

Yeah, can't really blame her for hitting the trailer. If I had to pick the lesser of two evils between an oncoming car and a trailer not attached to anything I know I'd wreck the trailer too.

Ins comp said the trailer is a total loss...
#18
so new trailer?
#19
job first.... then we will see...

They pay out though?
