I've been toying with the idea of a 3rd person POV camera mount for races (think the video game Crazy Taxi). I finally made the mount this weekend and tested it on the truck on the way to work today. I'm pretty happy with it. I have to make a few adjustments for stabilization but I'm going to really try it out at Moab this weekend before final setup. If everything is good, this will be one of the camera angles I use for the NORRA 1000 race in Mexico next month (along with the in cab and the "hood ornament" POV). Should make for some good editing!

Anyway, I sped up my drive to work 4x's and posted it as the test. Here you go.
