Me thinks you posted in the wrong thread The Bad Joke of the Day is in Off Topic....seriously are you ever going to really wheel your rig agian. You are one of the people we had you in mind when putting this run together. There's a few higherground people that would like to see you back on some real trails (Crown King and Sedona don't count). Are you really not wanting to do anything more challenging than bypasses on CK? Just wanting to know where you stand so we are not all disappointed when you turn down the harder runs. :~

i cant afford to fix my jeep when it breaks

not sure how else to put it

I lost 10k a year coming to days, megan is back in school

I have a rental house coming up vacant in 2 months and an extra mortgage to pay on that one

im still paying off my wedding and honeymoon

so yah, I wont wheel hard trails until debt is gone.

Sorry truly not trying to be a jerk (maybe should have laid off the sarcasm a little) people are truly disappointed when you don't go on some of the harder trails myself included I would think that would be flattering we just miss you out there as one of the founding members with one of the more built up rigs
#27
Im kinda in that same boat...
Just got a house still tring to fix / upgraade things.
Also have a trip to Canyon De Chelly comming up in Oct (aprx 800 miles round trip)
and the HG camping trip the weekend before the CDC trip.

So yes I want to go out but dont want to break anything major

i know, I want to go out again on the more challenging trails but just cant afford it

I have to be patient and wait. Have to put off what I want for what I need. That whole delayed gratification thing

Its tempting to use the credit cards and just charge everything and buy what I want, but, thats not the smartest choice and ends up hurting in the end

The trail I am going to take you on is not easy but not all that hard. I know what its like to break things and not be able to fix them. My jeep is living...errrr... dead proof.

Scoob you are going to bust things being on 35's... no way around that.

Nate we are going to push your jeep more than its been pushed in the past but you will love it.

Believe me I totally get the finances thing...work is slow and Dana is full time student now so we are reliying on my income which just barley covers our basics (and we too are paying off our wedding and honeymoon). I about had a heart attack when I thought we broke something on our last Table Mesa night run. Honestly didn't know where you were coming from before...heard a lot of reasons why you couln't go finances only being one rather than the big one. Glad to know you still want to do the harder trails (really wasn't sure). Look forward to having you back out there.

Easy as a craigslist call girl....

Ok so its a little worse. It shouldn't be wet so you will have more traction.

Crikey... a man works one honest day of labor (instead of web wheelin' all day) and you all go and turn into real wheelers!

LOL

Bob - Lower Term = perfect. I love it. Have I mentioned that you are my hero lately?

Team Yellow sub - I can't believe you did it at night. TM is my favorite (quick drive) playground...

Paul - If we start at 6 or 6:30 we'll be home by 8:30 and have plenty of time for to clean up and get to church. Easier and shorter than Judgment Day,with more bypasses if you're feeling girlish (and not cool girl-ish like Dana who can smoke you now...) Also, I only used a quarter tank of gas, including the drive up there, the trail, and the drive back. Easy on the wallet. HUGE part of why I love the early morning, one trail, in and out get your fix, Table Mesa runs...

Chris - love you, man, but I feel it. God will honor your good stewardship. Being responsible sucks, though. Better you than me, but I understand and I'm proud of you.

Nate - Sweet! You will LOVE Lower Term and white line will give you a brown line in your drawers, but Bob is the Master Spotter and walked me through it like a champ (well... Lance spotted on Z-turn, but it was only because Bob blessed him to do it and told me to trust him). One of my best accomplishments wheelin (next to the cracks run). You walked through Upper and Lower Raw Deal like a champ and won't have any issues with Lower Term with Bob on point.

Mike - thanks for pushing everyone off their booty... you gonna bring the X, or do you need a seat (with Bob, me, anyone...)?

Geoff - you gonna have that axle in by the 20th? Good shake down run.... LOL

Brian - Dude, quick run, early morning, great trail, home by 8:30 so you can spend family time too... consider it, bro!

Rock ON! AM TM ASAP!

(did i miss anyone? lol)

Well then if theres by-passes braid my hair & call me Paula :red| (Do NOT call me that }:( )

If theres by-passes then Ill more than likely whimp out & take them, As stated before, $$$ & 2 up comming trips thru Az. Want to get out with the group but also want to get back with minimal carnage 8| (note to K7AZV... Dont start man... DONT start  )

Alan you on that weekend too?
#36
I'm on that weekend too...

Firestone this weekend.
Table Mesa next weekend.
Sedona after that.

I might be divorced by then, but I'm in. :)=)

I can sell Firestone as PR work and supporting the site.
I can sell TM as early morning shake down run, home before you wake up.
I'm selling Sedona as "all important family time" for the camping... we'll see how that goes, but I'm down for the run "fo sho".

I suspect October will be "wheelin' free" with a lot of house projects and probably one "chick flick date night" added to the Calendar...

Wish me luck. :cool)

Is there still a possibility of doing Dirty San, Collateral, or Pred, maybe after Lower Term for anyone up for it? What's the status on Jack...you in? You can show us how the stretched rigs do it. :)=)

Don't know if you saw on the other board yesterday and today, but I FOOOOKED up my front end Saturday on the way back from Sandy Beach. Not likely to have the new axle in before the 20th. Not worth resetting gears on the 30 again when I can just use the money I'd spend on the R&P for the new brackets and beadlocks.

Bob, put them into DS first and then go hit Term.
#39
Yes bring a shaft.
2 trails... Term and DS
