Its a nice trail, about 8 miles round trip. The trail follows the creek bed the entire time. Saw lots of animals and wildlife. We spotted some wild turkeys but they took off before I could get the camera out

I know this can't be a spider web (can it?) but it looked just like one. They were on several trees. It was really thick and pretty strong when I jabbed at it with a stick. If its a spider web, then the spider has to be as big as my head 8| Im guessing its some sort of fungus, anyone know?
