COURSE DESCRIPTION: J.E.E.P. is hosting an ASHI certified Wilderness First Aid and CPR Course. Wilderness First Aid and CPR is the recommended minimum level of training for Search And Rescue Team members in Arizona. Wilderness First Aid is targeted toward Search And Rescue members and others who may find themselves beyond the urban emergency medical services system where there are extended patient contact times and the need to provide care with limited or improvised equipment. The training is practical, hands on, and focuses on managing scenarios with the equipment typically carried in the field.
Please contact the coordinator to register or for additional information. The registration fee is requested in advance to order the textbooks and supplies.
FIRST AID KITS: First Aid kits including all of the items used in the Wilderness First Aid class are for sale to class members for $30.00. This is less than
half of the retail price for these supplies. This does not include a case. Provide your own fanny pack, bag, or case, as you prefer. Order your First Aid supplies at the time of registration so we can order the supplies.

Cool. I took the first responder class a few years ago and it was great. The skills you learn from these are invaluable. You always hope you never have to put them to use, but its good to be prepared.
