Mod Day - 7-13-08

Just a big thanks to everyone who was there.
Everyone seemes really prepared this time for what they wanted to see get done. A lot of part sharing, tool sharing, and extra hands made marking off the lists go pretty smoothly.
Biggest thanks to Geoff for the use of his shop. Having all the vehicles inside at the same time for working was awesome.
Thanks too for the people that showed up even though they didn't have anything that could be readily worked on.
All in all, what...8 vehicles there this time?

Biggest list checkers:
Alanzona (Alan) getting his new springs in up front
Skatchkins (I) I got my rack off and laid out some plans for the new one
NJcrawler (Cooper) got his electical taken care of
Quadfire (Randy) got his problems solved with a new fuel pump and gas tank revamping
Yellowsub (Dana & Jonathan) got their new custom switch panel fitted and installed the switches.

Miss anything?
I had a good day, even just the hanging.

I'll echo that with a SUPER, MONSTER thank you to Geoff, Bob, and everyone for the help. It was GREAT to see everyone, too, and I couldn't keep from smiling with that many Jeeps in one place. Lots of 35's, lots of lift, and lots of fellowship.

Thank you again, one and all. I really had a great time today.

Geoff, as Mike said, thanks for the shop, the hard work, the know how, and the tools... made a huge difference on the XJ. I sincerely appreciate it.

Only managed to stop by & say "hi" but was good to see you all again.

On a side note I have a small (2cell) silver mag light... turns out its NOT Alans, so Ill drop it off @ Mike's office tmro.

Definitely best mod day yet. I think eight vehicles more than double any turn out to a trail run (not sure if that's a good thing), but it was nice to hang out with everyone and get some needed work done. Thanks for all the help and big thanks to Geoff and his boss for letting us use the shop....air tools are awsome. Sorry to take the longest on seemingly the most straight forward mod...never knew threading wires under the dash required being a contortionist8|

big thanks to geoff for the shop and mike for the help. (that would be my mag lite! i thought i forgot something)

I think yours and Alan's got switched because the smaller one was the one left behind and I know yours was a 3 or 4 battery. Just because you got bigger springs doesn't mean you can steal the bigger mag-light Alan...stop compensating
#12
the "smaller one" is a three battery. Mine is a four battery and fits in my Mag Light holder just like it always did...

I'm sorry Jonathan. I'm a short guy with a stock... um... "drive shaft". I guess it's just habit by now... :red|

I'm really happy with the springs, but the ride home was weird! I've got to reconnect the sway bar. It was a little too "boatish" on the ride home. Gonna do great on the trail, though! Can't wait to try 'em out!!!

just a cell phone pic of the shop
#14
I took a couple of quick pics

Sorry Alan we all know you did actually help and not just sit there watching :)=)

#15
Soo... when we opening our own shop :cool)

Thanks to everyone for stopping by, whether or not you had any mods done or not. It was a great turnout and was fun to get together with everyone. I'll get some pics on later tonight. We couldn't have had mod day at a better place. It worked out so well! Thanks Geoff!! and thanks Mike for helping us out when I needed ;)
