Very nice stink. Thanks for the pics. We will put together a write-up during the week.
#3
cool, you mentioned something about a mini grand canyon earlier? Anything like that?

I think I like this one best.
#4
Yup. Sycamore Point was day two along with two other lakes and then the Lava Cave on day 3. Probably post some more tonight.
#5
I hate that I missed this trip. Great pics
#6
its weird that everywhere you go youre able to find a black box to put around the picture :)g)
#7
It's a special add on camera lens
#8
so what was your favorite camp spot up there? Was it crowded? Any luck fishing?
#9
You know I don't camp crowded.
It was wierd. The people up there seemed to cluster up together so there were plenty of untouched areas away from any wanderers. Most people there were either in the designated campgrounds or all motorhome circled up.
Also, they seemed to stay put so we hardly ever even saw anyone along the roads.
We didn't put a pole in. We motly just did the hiking thing and s'plored.

cool, I think I may head up there with my parents in early August. Its been awhile since they have gone camping. Are the roads trailer friendly?

There are plenty there that are. Especially if you are pro "designated" campground. We just made a point of finding the ones thay weren't. :)=)

Okay you lead. :)g) It's still one that I don't belong on. The falls in Mikes pics look a lot like the wash that SC and Upper SC run in.

wow that sounds pretty sweet. Give me about 18-24 months* and we can make a trip out of it

I have to wait till my wife finishes school before I can do any major mods
#17
with what kind of camera do you take those pictures with?
#18
Canon Rebel XTi with a slice of photoshop for processing of course. A Tamron 17-50 was usually the lens of choice.
Some of the cloud pics I had a ND Grad filter on to keep the sky from being washed out while keeping the foreground. I had a circular polarizer on for the water shots to keep the glare at a minumum.

Actually, what Chris is asking is "what parking lot can I make it to that is NEAR Skull Crusher that I can wheel in 18 - 24 months."

You're welcome, Chris. :)=)
