What: Lower and Upper Raw Deal (about 1 to 1.5 hrs of trail time, depending on group size)

Who: Anyone who wants to get a little dusty first thing in the morning... looking to have fun and be done and home by 9 AM.

Were just a few days on the close on our home, so were going to Vegas to pick up a deep freze & antique roll top dest from the in-laws on the 21st, well be leaving town around 2-3am ;)

Sorry we committed to the night run before this one was official, but definitely interested in future morning runs think its a great idea

Plus I just did Crown King on Sunday and I started over heating.. Need to find out whats going on too....

Airdown Spot at 6 AM.

Chevron at 51 AVE and loop 101 (if you are west side) at 5:30 if you want to travel up there together...

We've actually got a couple of options here. In speaking with Jack, he said to not do Upper RD since there has been some washout and it would be a bit tricky, so we are looking at lower raw deal (30 - 45 min?). My thinking was run it normal, see how long it took us, then run it in reverse if it only took 30 min.

That being said, it takes me about 10 minutes to air down, so I was shooting to be at airdown at 5:50 to try and leave at 6 (6 being a goal, not a military operation... but i've seen the jaw jackin' last an hour sometimes, so i'd like to start around 6, no later than 6:15 down the trail.

Now, for those of us West siders that are all close, why don't we meet at the Chevron at 51 AVE and the loop 101 and just go up to Table Mesa together? Meet at the Chevron at 5:30 and it's 20 minutes up to the air down spot. Maybe 25.

I'm not saying that you can't run the little part of upper that still exists. I just don't think it would be a good idea. The rock garden and the notch get pretty tricky and you could really get into doors and fenders up there.

gotcha. Sorry if I summarized incorrectly. I was coming more from the place of "light quick run just to get dusty, early morning, mom's and kids included, no breakage"... Geoff will do it to show off }:), but I didn't want to make it part of the "official run".

If we run it quick, we'll turn around and run it backwards... more about getting out and having a good time than it is about pushing the rigs. There's lots of different lines and should be a great time! :)=)

Ya'll should have a blast. Sorry I can't be out there to run with you. We'll get you all into some more trails soon.
