Howdy Gang,
Some of your were at the 101 Clinic hosted by the Rock Rats earlier this year and remember speaking briefly about simple First Aid. Well, I ended up touching on a bunch of subjects. I had quite a few folks ask if I would be willing to talk more and go into more depth about all that can go wrong out in the back county, what to expect, and how to address it.... Guess we will call it "Oh Crap! 101"
From all my years as a 4wheeler, camper, a professional in the offroad industry, to my years involved with MSCO and Search and Rescue, I have been around the mountain a few times and picked up some tricks and heard some good stories that are worth passing on.
This is a going to be a 101 class so it is ment to be an education and possible eye opner. A good example, First Aid. Simple basics geared for everyone. For those interested in learning more, I would encourage those to get signed up for EMT classes. Then again, simple may sound boring, but how many of you have a first aid kit?
Also, I will talk about the proper install of 4 and 5 point harnesses for those intersted.
Here is run down of some the topics I will be covering.
