CB's, Antenna's, and SWR
#1
I've been looking to get me a CB Antenna (already bought the radio). I was looking at the Firstik FS models either 4' or 5'. What brand and size does everyone else have?

Also does anyone have a SWR meter I could borrow when I hook mine up?

I have a SWR meter.

If you go with Firestick, you'll need the spring.

I prefer my 4' Wilson. Dana and Nate have the same one.

Where do you get the Wilson? After that last run at the Cracks, the little dinky trail antenna blows and it's time to upgrade...

I go to Apollo Communications on 43rd and Northern

dude, you were using that?!?!?! I'm sorry. I saw an abandoned Jeep in your drive and assumed you were parting it out. My bad, brother. I'll bring it back... }:)

Does this mean you want your door back too?

Wow first from the girl, now from the sliding door crew (no offence Quad).
I'm feeling the burn from over here

I used to bring his Jeep dirt clods back when he was down for a while before. I can't be sure what it was leaking when I placed them randomly on his hood but I swear it looked like tears.

I'm using a Wilson 1000 rooftop mount. I like it a lot, but it gets hit my trees, branches, ect. all the time.

PITA when I installed it. Who knew the couresy light in the rear had a bracket holding it? I drilled through the roof only to discovery another layer of metal!!

Of course, you wrangler guys can't use the rooftop mount.

So Mike when and where can I borrow your SWR meter?
