Moto Trax Grand Opening
#1
Ok, I know that no one here likes to show off at all, so it might be hard getting people to bring out there rigs, but we really could use a few rigs to help out with this event.

Moto Trax is a OHV park being built near Gila Bend. It is a 320 acre place that people will be able to go and play with their vehicles. They are going to have a demonstration of the different types of OHV going on at the Grand Opening on May 17th and we need your rigs to come out and put on a show for the general public. They don't need to look pretty, just come out and show off.

www.mototrax.org is there website.

Please let me know if you would be willing to come out and show off a bit.

In addition this weekend they will be on location helping to build the demo area for us if you are interested in helping put together the final course for the demos.

Give me a call if you are interested 623-340-0885 or post up here or send me an PM.

I agree. This event like the Game and Fish Expo, the Glendale Fire Prevention Parade, Gold Rush Days Parade, etc... are a way to reach the public. As with everything around OHV the Greenies have for a long time painted a picture of us as being nothing more then desert terrorists running over plants, animals and people, destroying everything in our path. Public arenas like this allow us to reach out and show them we are not and we are concerned about the environment. This event is also one that allows the 4x4's, the motocycle, quads and rhinos to all come together and show a united front on land use issues.

I agree 100% on the it is not kinda, it is far. Support of events like this does help long term in regards to helping us save the areas we have now so that we can keep wheeling them. We will be representing the AZOHVC and hope to gain members or interest, these guys are the ones that help pay the lobbyist that has saved our lands more then once since he was hired.

I know not everyone can make it, the time and cost, but if there is even one or two that can that would be awesome.

I thought there were more members that 7 or 8?

Or maybe it is my bad, did I say it had to be a Jeep? I may have, been on so many Jeep boards I often still refer to 4x4's as Jeeps. If so my bad, any 4x4 is cool with me. I did not mean to exclude anyone, so if you have something other then a Jeep and want to come show off bring it!!!!!!!!

dude, we would love to come out and show off, but I'm playing music at CCV that weekend, Sc00by is working the cameras, Geoff is moving his lady from Saint Louis, and Bob and Mike are coming back from Moab.

I don't want to speak for all of us, but it's killing us to not be able to be there. It sound great and is a great way and place to show case OHV and how it can be done the right way.

The Calendar kills us here, but please keep us all up to date with other events like this and other opportunities to make a difference and get involved with OHV issues and ways to raise awareness.

you rock, man!

I understand, this time of year is normally tough and I also know some of the normal crew I go out with is also going to be using this weekend to tie up lose ends for the cracks run the following weekend. No worries, I am sure there will be plenty of opportunities in the future.

I do have another one I am going to post on here that is for early October.
