... got home from clinicals. I was in the wound clinic today which was pretty interesting/disgusting. Mainly we had diabetic patients with poor circulation.
One of the grossest ones was where this person's two smallest toes had already fallen off and it was almost time for the black middle one to come off. The dr tugged on it but it wasn't quite ripe enough.
Also had a patient that looked like they were in a car accident with major scarring on arms and legs. I'm talking huge bands of white scar tissue that was sunken in. Turns out that IV drug use can do that to you!
