As far as Moab, it's a partial issue. I have to be back in town to work a workshop/conference the tail end of our Moab trip. I say not a total bust because I will be leaving on Saturday AM, wheeling Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed 1/2 day if possible, then driving home, back at work on Friday to work the weekend. Sucky, but only 1/3 sucky.

Rockfest is a different story. I have to catch a flight Wednesday to go to Vegas for a workshop and miss ALL FOUR DAYS of Rockfest. I'm out of town Wednesday - Sunday night.

I'm grateful to have work and I understand work is a bigger priority than wheeling, but it gets frustrating sometimes to have you heart and mind set on something and it fall through. I'm grateful to have a job. I appreciate being employed and loving what I do for a living, but I get irritated with the realities of responsbility sometimes.

That sucks but its a Job and it pays for those weekends you get to go out.
I missed Moab in 2007 because I had a new job that said I had the time off then put me in a training class during my vacation... It suck but I am glad you get a chance to hang out with us for part of it.

Well, I actually did a little math on this one:

Saturday road trip fun + Sunday Moab + camping + Monday Moab + camping and eating ice cream + Tuesday Moab + camping and drinking the Monster you finally broke down and bought me + Wednesday morning Moab and exhausted, yet happy road trip fun > No Moab + sit my butt at home + look a picture of what YOU did for a year + regret not going last year + hear Geoff talk about how much fun HE had for a year + not having a Monster bought with your hard earned money
