Just watched a guy fall in the “lake” next to my work. He was fishing and lost his footing. I think he caught the fish. His friend came running over to help but was laughing to hard to do anything other than hold the pole.
That made my day.

Cool, I'm signed up for the Friday night shift with the MCECG and will be out there supporting the runners with my ham radio at a checkpoint up by Wickenburg.

I'm watching a bum (meth addict) work the parking lot. He tried the "need money to fix my bike" thing, then went and hid the bike in the bushes and is now just approaching people coming out to their car.

Oh now he ran off.

Peoria police warned business owners to check delivery people's identifications before letting them in the door.

The warning came Tuesday from Mike Tellef of Peoria Police. "We had a male subject who was dressed in very similar attire to a UPS (United Parcel Service) driver," said Tellef. "He entered the ACE Check Cashing Store," at Peoria and 85th Avenues.

The man was carrying a box, Tellef said.

"The employee inside let him in. He produced a weapon and demanded money from the safe. She opened the safe and gave him a very considerable amount of money."

The suspect ran into an apartment complex next door and drove off in a red SUV, Tellef said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Peoria police or Silent Witness.

He was telling me about new lights he just bought, apparently he has a hard time pronouncing the word fog. He gets the F sound okay but the O and G turn into more of a U and K sound

So he was telling me about his new fog lights, I tried my best but I couldn't help but laugh when he said it. He sat there for a second with a confused look on his face before he realized what I heard

The bill thats out there now basically says government funds should not go to any organization that provides abortions
