Just got back from the dentist... had 3 fillings done. My first experience ever with dental work. Apparently 2 shots to numb most people is more then enough. Sometimes 3, very rare 4. Me however, it takes 5 to not feel anything. He said I'll be numb most of the night... lol

...fell in the pool this afternoon. Not a big deal and kinda funny but I have a 5000 dollar insulin pump on my hip. At the same time I severely twisted/sprained my ankle and over extended my hip (which cramped up when I was under water). I took off my pump and dried it out. Of course, it doesn't work...so I called my pump manufacturer and fortunately it is under warrantee. So I call my doctor to get a script for long acting insulin because I no longer have a pump to act like long acting insulin. THEN I go and grab a vial insulin to cover my blood sugar and accidentally drop the vial and it breaks (love tile floors). I discovered I know longer have insulin syringes so I go to WALMART to get a small amount. I then discover that my visa/debit card doesn't work. I call Desert Schools and they tell me that it has fraud protection case against it. I guess somebody in Maryland had to go to Home Depot. Keep in mind I am waiting for the pharmacy to call with my new script.

So now it is after five I have to call the on-call doctor for the script. He was nice enough to call it in. I guess someone at the Doctor's office dropped the ball and didn't call in the script in.

Fortunately, our a/c got fixed today and my vision appointment went well today and my vision has improved.

Your desert schools account too. They did that to mine at a Home Depot also. Mmmm. Sorry about your day. Call me if you need anything.

I guess I have nothing to complain about... sorry to hear of your difficulties.

Just got home from St Joes in Phx. My dad called about 3pm and said he was being taken in for chest pains and an irregular heartbeat. Picked up my mom from her work and headed down. When we got there he was ok. They had him hooked up and drugs going to bring the heartbeat down to normal. His resting HB was over 100. Normal for him is 60-70. His BP was also off the chart.

After 6 hours and lots of Dr's they put him in a room to watch him overnight. The last Dr to see him thinks its a drug reaction and will be doing some test.

Hes good and should be out by 3pm.

Im just happy it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
