I just, (today) bought the CB for the jeep, should be installing tomorrow night! :)

I just read the "Fabcrap" write up and laughed my butt off... I particularly liked the window tab title... nice touch!

Here is the process:

Installation instructions:

Remove stock front bumper

Try to put on new Fabcrap bumper

Observe holes don't line up at all

Play around with drill hoping to widen holes

Realize you're wasting your time

Put stock bumper back on

Send bumper back to supplier because Fabcrap will not take responsibility for own product

Foolishly order bumper again- this time from a different supplier/batch

Remove stock front bumper

Try to put on 2nd Fabcrap bumper

Observe holes don't line up at all

Put stock bumper back on

Send bumper back supplier because Fabcrap will not take responsibility for own product

Let roommate give you the "I told you so" lecture

Never buy anything that even rhymes with Fabtech again

I just "burried" my dog (took him to a pet hospital for cremation). Jen and the kids found Buddy dead in the pool this morning. Didn't hear or see a struggle last night but he's been having seizures the last few days, but either way... very sad day at the Johnson house. We'd had buddy 6 years now and it's the kids first real experience with something besides a fish dying.
