Ive worked in a distributed operations environment for 10 years. Started out managing nt web and app servers. Did unix admin for a year and the last 4 years Ive been working as an admin for Stratus systems

My mother's husband doesn't at all get mission work even though he's a card carrying Christian.

He said he "couldn't understand why in tarnation those stupid missionaries that went around the world giving out free bibles that just got killed didn't all carry guns and just shoot them. It reminds me of that stupid Spear movie where the guy just let 'em kill him. I woulda pulled out my gun and killed them all."

Movie reference End of the Spear (which I thought I would hate but really enjoyed)
Maybe I should also reference that mo's husb is a convicted murderer, the 14yrs prison kind.

Theres a point though where it is acceptable to fight back using force. I think in the pirate situation, if they were armed, they should have fought back. The issue is the stupid international laws that ban vessels from carrying weapons

BO needs to send the marines into somalia on some punitive raids. They need to take out the ports the pirates are using. This patrolling around catching and releasing pirates is doing nothing to stop the problem

Just got back from the doc where I was used as a teaching opportunity. All I remember is I was in a room with 3 ladies (new student all the way to PA) and the doc. Porn lies... There is nothing sexy about being a teaching tool. All I can say is I am happy I had on my new undies. ;)

For what it's worth, I use you as a teaching tool/learning example for my kids all the time. 8)
