Hi all.
New to the forum, Jeeps and Canada.
I have just bought an '86 Jeep Commanche. It's in good condition but needs a little TLC. My question is about the brakes. They work but there is alot of lever travel!! Is that normal? Or is there something amiss?

Sounds like you may have some air in the brake lines.
I would suggest you & a buddy do the typical brake bleed song & dance and see if that helps.

i agree with scooby but also it might need pads and if your going to bleed the brakes i suggest changing the fluid completely its 20 yrs old thats all
