As most of you know, Jen has been a dental assistent for the past 5 years or so. During that time she has been retaken a few classes she needed A's in to get accepted into the dental hygiene program. They accept only the students with strait A's and at least a couple years experience.
Last November she was accepted into Rio Solado, but due to the baby being born in September she could not attend.
A couple months ago she applied to both Mesa Community and Phoenix Collage. Keep in mind that there are only 3 school in the valley that you can attend for Hygiene. Which is why it is so hard to get into.
Last night she got the letter from both Mesa and Phoenix. They both read, we would like to congratulate you on being accepted out of the 24 people that we have approved for this program.
After applying for a couple years, Jen has been accepted to all 3 schools in one year.
The bottom line here is, after 2 more years of school she will be a certified Hygienist. This means that I get to retire and be a stay at home Dad (I wish).
She has worked so hard for this and deserves it more than anyone I know.
