Megan and I finally went to the 100 class and joined CCV last Sunday
The class was actually pretty good, I really like the structure and philosophy behind the church.
Another cool thing that came out of the class is Megan's decision to get baptized. Shes been a Christian since she was little but growing up her home church and family never really talked about baptism and why it was important. They spent some time covering it Sunday and Megan decided that is something she really wanted to do
So next Sunday shes getting baptized after church, they said family members can baptize family, so it looks like I will be there performing it. Pretty cool and humbling. Ive never baptized someone before and seeing as how its a commandment from God and something you only do once in your life I feel pretty special that she asked me to do it ;)
