So I had a chance to go out with the Arizona Xterra Owners Club. I'll post over there sometimes and saw they wer doing a run that fit with my schedule so I joined up. Bob gave me the pleasure of riding with me.
We went out to the coves (Butcher Jones) and drove around for a few hours. Good night for it- still some mud out and the sky was bright.
It went well. Mostly just dirt hill climbs and descents, but hairy at times with all the dippy-do's. Many of the X's out there at least had rear lockers (LSD's) but they weren't really needed with the right momentum.
One new Xterra snapped one of his front driveshafts on an easy spot but the new ones (Gen II's) are awfully prone to that sort of breakage.
Met some new people and got some cool points so it was fun.
Only got a few pics since I was driving and because it was night I had to tripod it up.
