Air Pressure?
#1
What Air Pressure Do You Guys Run On The Trails And What Kind Of Airdown's Do You Use?
#2
usually Im about 10-12psi in each tire and I have a set of staun deflators that work pretty good

I have 37's on my jeep so I keep them around 8-10 and I use the staun too. I have a Co2 set up for when I need to air up.

I (being relatively new to all this) was really parnoid about airing down (popping off the bead, "flat tire" etc...).

I took baby steps at Broken Arrow and aired down to 20 PSI and didn't really notice a difference, so I didn't think it was that big of a deal.

On Judgement Day I took the plunge and aired down to 11 - 12 PSI and I will never ride another trail again without airing down that low. The ride was better, my grip was better, looking at some of the rocks I'm pretty sure I would have split a tire if I had been fully aired up and there was no "give" in the tire due to being under-inflated.

Typically, on the road, I run 30 PSI and it's great for highway driving, but when I get to air down, it's 11 or 12 PSI for me from now on.

(Thanks Sc00by for encouraging me to go that low... also thanks to the dude who gave me the automatic airdown that dropped me to 11 PSI without me knowing it went that low!!!)

Sc00by's C02 set up was perfect for airing back up and is now on my list of things to do to my Jeep.

10 front and 13 rear (I carry a lot of weight in tools) and I use stauns also and then I have a ViAir OBA system for airing up

It Looks Like Most Of You Run Between 10 And 13 Pounds. I Run 33 Tires And I'm Also Looking To Add An Air Compressor Or Co2 But Want To Get Your Ideas On Both. I Have Room For A Small Compressor Under Hood. It Seems This Would Be The Way To Go.

Any Thoughts?

Thanks

I asked about that too and found out the AzLugz likes to keep a clean motor... LOL

What I saw this weekend was a whole bunch of guys taking forever to air up with their compressors and the Co2 working much quicker. There are pros and cons (I'm told) to both.

FatBob and Sc00by had some really good insight.

THAT ViAir OBA SYSTEM LOOKS NICE.
I WONDER HOW LONG IT TAKE TO AIR UP 4 TIRES.

How Long Does A Co2 Bottle Last Between Fill Ups?

The compressor is definately a slower way to go. I found a hose setup once that attached to all four wheels to air up at once but now I can't find it again, it was about $80 for the setup. Only saves in hook and unhook time but you can hook up once and walk away

From my understanding, a 10lb CO2 can fill 16-20 33" tires.
I exchange the tank out @ phx welding for about $20

Thank You. That Sounds Reasonable.
