You should be able to do the backway to crownking if you dont mind rubbing in some spots. I ran it stock in my jeep before the lift

If you want to do a 101 class this weekend you should come out to Table Mesa. They are going to run a trail for stock jeeps... It will be a bunch of Jeeps but they are a good group.

ARGH, this sucks, my car is torn apart, i need to get a new clutch, o-ring, and get oil changed, and a bunch of smaller stuff.. Hopefully will be back together within the next 2 weeks.

What area do you live in, I also have an 88 Sami and my partner has an 87 Sami crawler in progress. We wheel a lot in the Florence and queen Valley areas and the sami's do great out there, besides, you will be amazed how far one will go in stock form with some decent tires

Mines is on 31's with 4" lift and we are getting ready to put in the trail-gear 6.5 T-Case gears
