Im sure some of you are wondering where the money goes when you become a forum sponsor, click on an add or purchase some gear. Heres quick breakdown of the costs for the site and what we spend the money on

Expenses:

Forums - The cost of the Vbulletin forum license is $40.

Webhosting - Our webhost charges us $459 a year for the site along with 25gb of disk space and 1000gb of monthly bandwidth. Our site runs on a virtual private server.

Christmas party - We spent close to $250 last year on gifts for club members that attended our Christmas party

Our average yearly cost for maintaining the site and continuing our parties and other activities is $709

Misc gear (flags, one off stickers etc) $100

We also pay up front for our calendars which run about $500

Just updated the above post to reflect this year

YTD expenses have been $522 while income has been $136 leaving a $326 out of pocket defecit

Funny, I'll at least renew my Rockcrawler Sponsorship, but also thought the same thing about buying ad space.
