Oh do I...... these are the best dual purpose tire out...... thats my .02 cents..... keep the change.......

in the last 9 months I have had these tires on alot of different terrain around Arizona and in Moab...... including but not limited to; Snow, mud, dry rocks with wet tires, wet rocks, and a ton of dry rock wheelin........ They are no stickie but wow they work good enough for what I do...... the video in the trip report shows how they do in the rocks and after all that they are round, smooth and quiet at 75 MPH and all speeds less than that..... they are wearing great, not chunking and the sidewalls are holding up well...... to proove the worth of the sidewalls, in the last 9 months of having these tires I have broken bolts in all 4 beadlock rings at one point or another sometimes more than 1...... sidewalls have barely a scratch..... I do have a few cuts in them but those of you that know me know that I wheel a couple times a month on average....... no not buggy trails but remember these arent stickies......

Con: would be a the goofy tread pattern so I'm not sure if I can flip the sidewall on the wheels to I get fresh sidewalls and side bighters down the road/trial?

I recommend MTRk's to anyone who wants an awesome all around tire.......

Tire: BFG Red Label Krawlers
Size: 39-13.50-17
Vehicle: 2001 Jeep TJ
Suspension Lift: 5"
Body Lift: 1"

Current tire mileage: 200
Appearance: Mean
Tread life: Ha! Non-existant. Maybe 5K?
Road noise: Not bad
|

Street Performance: Don't even think about it.
Offroad Performance: Insane. Better than any other sticky out there.
Rock: You could stick to the roof of a cave with these tires. The sidewalls leave a little to be desired though, not the strongest for sure.
Rain: The ONLY tire I have seen that works fantastic on wet rocks. The ONLY one.
Mud: Spins right through.
Snow: Worked fine, but it was a very thin layer on rocks. No issues.

Would you buy this tire again?: I have another set waiting in my garage.

Who would you recommend this tire to?: Anyone who wants to school their friends in the rocks.

Another quick update on the Krawlers. I just cut my fifth, yeah count em' five, Krawler. I think this one went due to extreme abuse. Current mileage on original tires purchased in Jan 2008 is 50K miles. Tread depth on cut tire was measured at 12/32". New 'book' depth is 22/32". That's over 50% after 50K! Wow! A new certed tire from 4WP cost me $60. They retail at $530 each. I am truly amazed at the quality of the BFG tire and the tire warranty at 4WP. A huge thanks to both!
