Hunters??
#1
I know several of us are fishermen.
But just thought I would ask if any one here is also a hunter?

Well, I was, when I was in, as our license plates stated, "The Sportsman's Paradise." You name it, I've shot it. Got here and was like, "what the *&%$# is a draw??" So I haven't here.
Deer hunting was too boring for me. Shot one then quit. At the camp, they always put deer balls in the soup. I do love me some deer chilli and fried deer steak.
Squirrel hunting's ok, but I really don't like eating them. My grandfather would put their heads on plates and spoon out the brains.
Dove's okay
Duck was the best. Almost always a guarantee. Doesn't have to be an all day thing. And if you got bored, you just throw your pole in the water and catch catfish. Good eating too. Liver and Gizzards, Dirty Rice (which we have for T-day and Christmas), and the hearts are great too.

My Grandparents were big on hunting till the early 80's.
I know My Grandap hunted: javelina, antelope, big horn sheep, elk, deer, And I think 1 black bear too.
We had planed to go out hunting many years ago but due to the ex-wife anti-gun / hunting it never happend and by the time I was free he wasent able to handle the out doors.

So the reason for this is, a co-worker has talked about going out to hunt Javelina next month or early next year. From my understanding archery Javelina & deer dont require a "draw".
So I took me a archery class toinght and was schooled on how to stand & draw, And the diferent kinds of bows too.
So I ended up putting a Catalyst on layaway.
