99 TJ overheats only on freeway with AC on

My jeep only overheats when on the freeway with the AC on. I can run all day at 70mph with no AC and it doesn't complain at all. Once the AC is on, temps start to climb. I can drive around town normal stop/go traffic with the AC on and there are no issues.

Theory is something's up with the condenser and pushing extra heat onto the radiator maybe?

Its a 99 TJ 4.0 automatic

Heres what Ive replaced:
radiator
thermostat
water pump
hoses
radiator cap

Any ideas?

im gonna see about adding a spacer between condenser and radiator and maybe move the condenser down a bit - was looking at alans and its just sitting in there at a funky angle - prolly missing a bolt - but it shows more of the radiator for airflow

That should make absolutely no difference whatsoever.

just guessing around right now and its a zero dollar try

ill see how it goes - also checking flan clutch - some people say that if its bad - at freeway speeds it wont spin freely like designed

That is true. If I were you, I'd do away with the fan clutch and get set up with dual electric fans. It'll save some load on your motor and work better

yah i ran electric ones on the old TJ -only thing I didnt care for was the noise - but i mighta just had a loud one
