Winch was never a problem for temp on any of my jeeps. I would bet it is just an older rad.

Yah, I ordered an OEM Spectra replacement one from RockAuto part CU2101 - was only $81 vs $97 from summit. Thought about the all aluminum, but I was looking at $330+ and would rather spend that on axles. If this one goes out in a year, Ill go the higher end route

got the new radiator in, fairly straight forward swap. 10 and 11mm sockets is all you need

TJ still wants to run hot on the freeway, starts warming up almost immediately - within a half mile of being on it.

Ordered a new thermostat, will see if that helps. If not Ill probably just take it to Greg, gotta go to him anyway for the rear main seal leak. Once he has it Ill have him do a transmission drain/fill/inspection on it too and the brakes

got a 180 tstat - it still got a touch over 210 on the freeway with AC on - Im guessing 215 or so - once I stopped I could hear water boiling in the overflow jug. I dunno why its happening, AC off on the freeway and it has no issues. Guess next thing to swap is the water pump

but first its going to greg for the leaks

    lol yep

Joe did mention that I need to set a limiting strap on the rear, the primary reason that drive shaft broke was the back flexed too much on that bounce
