Yes. Each suppressor is considered an NFA item, and is serial numbered. So, each suppressor needs it's own $200 tax stamp. I have 5 NFA items, so I have 5 stamps. I'm in the process of registering two more AR lowers as Short Barrel Rifles (SBR) and they each will also need their own $200 stamp. It's the price we have to pay to have the cool and fun stuff. I just got tired of swapping my registered SBR lower with my 3 short barrel uppers. When it's all said and done, each of my uppers will be married to a registered lower.
Unfortunately, to make this happen, I will be selling two of my pistols to fund this project.
I said that I will never do that again, but money is REAL tight right now.
