    Sweet!! I stumped ya

It is a Russian KS-23. Mostly riot shotgun with rifled barrel. Some reports say equivalent to 4gauge. 6 is more accurate.

The KS-23 (Karabin Spetsialniy) is a Russian shotgun but, since it uses a rifled barrel it is officially designated by the Russian military as a carbine. It is the most powerful shoulder-fired shotgun in use today, firing 23mm shells which are equivalent to 6.27 gauge. There are civilian, door-breaching, bullpup and military versions of this weapon.

Oh man... this was hard. I actually took time away from my Hawaii vacation to look this sucker up. The original gun is a Stemple 76.

Through the magic of crazy ingenuity, the folks at BRP Guns have found a way to modernize this old machine gun. Slap on some newly machined parts, add some tactical flare, and BAM! You got a 9mm space gun that looks like a German Luger had an orgy with a Sten and an AK. They call it the BRP Corp STG 34K. This will set you back nearly $6,000 before adding all the cool factors.

I will tell you, this would be a fun and expensive gun to shoot. Just as fun and a LOT less expensive is a MAC-11 9mm in full auto ($3,500) and a Lage MFG Max-11 upper. Freakin awesome! Under $800 and made in Arizona!

This makes for a fun and affordable machine gun!

This started life out as a common VEPR-12 12ga shotgun. Very similar to the Saiga 12s. . Put either into the hands of some good ol' Texas boys, and you get this beast. A fast shooting, low recoil shotgun, available for your semi-auto or full auto shotgun.

    Welcome to Lone Star Arms.

    All you need is $$.

Super low recoil! Adding to my bucket list. Yeah, right. LEO and export only, unless you already own a full auto. Then, they can build on your shotgun.

The many faces of the Malaysian built VB Berapi LP02

Apparently, they can't build guns OR fly planes...

    Too soon?

OK. not much info on this POS gun. It's a 9mm and as quickly as it went into service, it was pulled because it's ugly as heck, snags on everything, and the scope mount puts the optic almost 8" above the muzzle. Want to see it in action? Well, you will have to settle for video game digital renditions.

So what happened to the guns? They were quickly replaced by the M16, Steyr AUG, and other guns that are more powerful than a 9mm.

OK, I'm pushing my opinion. If you want a high capacity shotgun, that is also compact and robust... get the Kel-Tek KSG. It holds 15 rounds and it's a near flawless shotgun. Pump and gun!

If you want a comparable gun but with a removable magazine, then the SRM Arms Model 1216 is for you. It holds 16 rounds via a quad-tube magazine (each tube holds 4 rounds). The magazine is removable and you can swap them out pretty quickly, with practice. The benefit is that it's semi-auto. After your 4 rounds, just manually rotate the tube to the next location and keep on rockin'!

Still, the KSG Ver 2.0 is much better. A whole lot better than the UTS-15, too.
